Arrest made in Subway robbery investigation

On Monday, November 15, 2021, Ronald E. McCloud III, was arrested by O’Fallon detectives in connection with the Subway robbery which occurred on 10/19/21. As a result of the investigation Ronald was charged with one count of Aggravated Robbery by the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office. Ronald’s bond was set at $75,000. He is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail.
It is through the cooperative effort between the community and police that we have successful outcomes like this. We are grateful for the assistance we received during this investigation.
