OPD Hires two new officers!

Last evening, we had the pleasure of welcoming two new officers to the O’Fallon Police Department. Both officers come from local departments and joined our agency through our Lateral Entry Program. Officer Scott Votrain came to us from the Waterloo Police Department with 3 years’ experience; he received his Oath of Office from Commissioner Russ Thoman. Officer Will Carter was previous employed with the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department for the last year.  He received his Oath of Office from Commissioner Calvin Brown.  Both officers will immediately begin a 16-week orientation and Field Training Program.
