Sex Offender Charged with Public Indecency and Aggravated Battery

At about 12:30am, Thursday morning O'Fallon Police responded to the Dogwood Social House after receiving information about a man masturbating in the bar area and making unwanted advances towards an employee.

Officers arrived on scene where they located and arrested, 31-year-old registered sex offender, Thonchel B. Brazier-Scott.

The incident was investigated and submitted to the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office. This afternoon, Thonchel was charged with one Class A Misdemeanor count of Public Indecency and one Class 3 Felony count of Aggravated Battery. Investigators are still looking into the status of his compliance with his sex offender registration requirements.

Thonchel is currently being held at the St. Clair County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
